The Centre for Sustainable Practice has a vital role in promoting sustainability – not just in Otago and New Zealand, but internationally.

The Centre meets society’s growing need for sustainable practice education, collaboration and implementation.

The Centre’s activity focuses on:

  •  Collaborative projects on local, regional, national and international levels
  •  Developing qualifications and delivering programmes in Sustainable Practice
  •  Consulting with schools, industry and government agencies
  •  Carrying out high quality, internationally recognised research into sustainability.

Jean Tilleyshort heads the Centre for Sustainable Practice, as the Otago Polytechnic's Director: Sustainability.
