Jahn Morris Hill is an artist and MFA candidate at the Dunedin School of Art. Her process-driven practice engages in the transformation of the humble T-shirt to address sustainability and the burden of excessive waste and pollution in the textile industry.

The project implements historical research into both the cotton and papermaking industries, deviating into the wider clothing industry where unsold, discarded clothing items are relegated to textile mountains around the globe. The processes may seem insignificant yet laborious, but the resultant eccentricity and fragility of the objects aim to communicate the over-production of clothing apparel.
