Otago Polytechnic leads the way with 2023 HRNZ Award nominations

Otago Polytechnic has been recognised in the recent announcement of finalists for the prestigious 2023 HRNZ Awards. Laura Warren, Manukura Tuarua – Ara Takata | Deputy Chief Executive: People, Culture & Safety has been named as a finalist for the Leadership Award.

The Leadership Award recognises an individual who has shown outstanding leadership for the HR profession through either leading the implementation of exemplary practice within their own organisation or through their contribution to the profession overall in New Zealand.

Otago Polytechnic has also been named as a finalist in the Mana Tāngata category of the 2023 HRNZ Awards. The Manga Tāngata category has two sub categories - Emerging and Leader. The category is for individuals or organisations who are demonstrating mahi towards incorporating bi-cultural HR practices and enacting tikanga Māori-based HR practice.

Congratulations to our people, to be recognised as leaders within New Zealand’s HR community as finalists is an achievement in itself.

Winners will be announced on 9 March 2023.
