Te Pūkenga Network

Otago Polytechnic is currently a business unit of Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology (Te Pūkenga).

The current landscape

The current Government plans to disestablish the entity that is Te Pūkenga | New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology and to give leadership and decision-making back to regional providers located around Aotearoa New Zealand.

Whilst the Government works through the legislative changes needed in this space, we are committed to ensuring that this will not impact your learning and experience with us.

All programmes of study or training will continue as planned.

Our excellent learner services, support and facilities are all readily available and we will continue to serve our communities and stakeholders.
