Prior to the start of the programme, you need to do the following:
Documentation for Work Experience
During this programme you will need to undertake a minimum of 40 hours work experience in an animal facility. You will be supplied with documentation around this at the start of your programme however in the mean time you will need to apply for a Criminal Convictions History (via the Ministry of Justice), to provide to work experience providers. We recommend you do this as soon as possible as it can take several weeks for this to come through. In addition you will need to email a copy to firstname.lastname@example.org

We will be running regular live sessions weekly throughout your programme. These sessions cover the weekly topic you are studying and is a chance to discuss any questions and the upcoming assessment. They are a valuable link between your learning, contact with your class and learning advisors. These will run weekly at agreed times and are recorded for further review.
In the first week of your programme you will be expected to attend a live session. The aim of the session is to help you get started, navigate your way around Moodle, and meet the staff and fellow students enrolled in your programme this year. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions you might have. The induction session is compulsory, so if you have commitments and cannot attend please let your learning advisor know.
Please note the date and time here for your intake and make plans to attend. A link to the live session will be emailed to you prior to the programme start date.
