- New Zealand Certificate in Avalanche Risk Management (Level 5) - 12 weeks of online study with a block course in either Wānaka or Whakapapa. Starts in July. Career opportunities in Alpine Search and Rescue, Avalanche Controller, Cat/Snow-mobile Operator, Ski Patroller
- New Zealand Certificate in Cellar Operations (Level 3) - 28 weeks, part-time. Starts in late October. Your study includes online learning, weekly on-campus tutorials, field trips and workplace experience. Perfect if you're already working in a winery, or want to enter the wine industry. If you're not working in the wine industry, you'll need to have a harvest cellar job lined up for the grape harvest.
- New Zealand Certificate in Food and Beverage Service (Level 3) (Café Services) (Bar Services) - 17 weeks, full-time programme with training in our on-site café and a work experience placement in industry. Starts in July. Gain the essential skills needed for working in the bar and café sector of the hospitality industry.

- New Zealand Certificate in Apiculture (Level 3) - 33 weeks part-time. Starts in August. Online study with block courses available in a range of locations. Learn how to rear queen bees for a commercial operation or to operate your own queen-rearing operation. Vet nursing
- New Zealand Certificate in Animal Care (Level 3) (Companion Animals) - 20 weeks, full-time. Starts in July. Study online and then complete a 40-hour work placement to gain hands-on skills. This programme is your first step towards an animal-related profession such as kennel and cattery management, pet grooming, wildlife management or education.
- New Zealand Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Level 6) - Online with block courses and 240 hours of veterinary clinic work experience. Starts in July. Graduate successfully and become a fully qualified, professional Veterinary Nurse and enter the New Zealand Register of Veterinary Nurses.
- Certificate in Avian Wildlife Healthcare (Veterinary Nurses) (Level 6) - 1 year, part-time. Starts in July. Online with a five-day work placement at the Dunedin Wildlife Hospital. This programme is the only one of its kind in New Zealand and is ideal if you are a qualified Veterinary Nurse who is increasingly being presented with injured or sick avian wildlife.
- Certificate in Avian Wildlife Healthcare (Veterinarian) (Level 7) - 1 year, part-time. Starts in July. Online with a five-day work placement at the Dunedin Wildlife Hospital. This programme is the only one of its kind in New Zealand. It's ideal if you're a qualified Veterinarian who is increasingly being presented with injured or sick avian wildlife and will give you the skills to administer medicine and/or surgery.
High-country farming
- Level 3 High Country Farming - 1 year full-time. Starts in July. The only farming programme in New Zealand with a high-country focus. Enjoy the chance to do on-farm, practical assessments, as well as work placements on local high-country stations. As a graduate, you could be employed in pastoral farming/rural-based workplaces working under limited supervision. This is your last opportunity to begin studying this programme in 2022 and to get it fully funded by the Government's TTAF scheme. Additional living or study costs apply.
- Bachelor of Visual Arts - 3 years full-time. During your first year, get a taste of all of our studio disciplines (Ceramics, Electronic Arts, Jewellery and Metalsmithing, Painting, Photography, Print, Sculpture and Textiles) and then choose the one you're keen to focus on for your second and third year. This programme will set you up for an exciting and diverse range of creative professions. Our July start is for those with advanced standing. You will need to be eligible for 60 cross-credits to apply so you can go straight into our semester two courses.
- Graduate Diploma in Visual Arts - 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time. July start. If you already hold a degree and would like to develop your fine arts skills, this programme offers you the chance to carry out an intensive course of study in your chosen discipline (Ceramics, Electronic Arts, Jewellery and Metalsmithing, Painting, Photography, Print, Sculpture or Textiles).
- Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) - 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time. July start. Ideal if you want to develop research skills in studio and theory, or pursue further postgraduate study. Graduate with higher-level employment prospects in education, or the arts industry and management sectors. Or, you may become a practising artist.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Visual Arts - 6 months full-time, 1 year part-time. July start. If you want a taste of postgraduate study in art, this is the programme for you. You'll develop studio work and write an essay on an aspect of related research methodology. Employment opportunities are exciting and diverse across the creative professions.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Visual Arts - 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time. July start. The perfect opportunity to do practical and theory-based guided art research. Develop and display mastery of professional, technical and conceptual skills through an original exhibition and associated writing. The skills you develop are transferable to a wide variety of employment situations.
- Master of Visual Arts - 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time. Flexible start. Deep dive into practical- and theory-based research through this advanced qualification. You'll develop studio work, an oral seminar paper, an essay for critical feedback and an original exhibition. Skills gained in this programme are highly valued in a variety of industries including education, art and design, arts management, editorial and curatorial practices.
- Master of Fine Arts - 2 years full-time, 4 years part-time. Flexible start. This degree is suitable for you if you want to become a professional arts practitioner. You'll carry out original research culminating with a public exhibition and dissertation.
- New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 4) with a focus on Business - It is a great way to get started for tertiary study in business, tourism or applied management.
- New Zealand Certificate in Business (Administration and Technology) (Level 4) - If you're new to administration, this programme will give you an advanced understanding of administration and management. You will learn to run an office smoothly.
- New Zealand Diploma in Business (Level 5) (Accounting) or (Leadership and Management) - This functional programme is suitable for those who want to learn how to prepare budgets, monitor business performance against budgets, determine internal controls to minimise financial risk, and analyse and interpret financial information for decision making.
- Bachelor of Applied Management - Study core business and leadership courses followed by your chosen electives to arm you with the management skills you need to succeed in the event, hospitality, leadership, project or strategic management.
- Bachelor of Applied Management (Accounting) - Helps you become a Chartered Accountant upon completion. 3 Years study on campus in Dunedin. part-time study possible.
- Graduate Diploma in Accounting - This could lead you to become an Accountant or Finance Administrator. 1-year full-time study delivered on campus in Dunedin. Part-time study is also possible.
- Graduate Diploma in Applied Management - This study could help upgrade your role to managerial or team lead positions. Includes 1 year full-time study, however, part-time is also possible.
- Graduate Diploma in Event Management - This one-year qualification can help you build skills and academic rigour for managerial roles in event management.

- New Zealand Certificate in Construction Trade Skills (Carpentry) (Level 3) - This one-year, full-time qualification will give you the work-ready skills to enter the construction trades as an apprentice carpenter working under supervision.

- Graduate Diploma in Design (Specialty) - Advance your current work role to specialist positions by extending your design skills. You can opt for this programme and specialise in communications, fashion, or Product Design.
- Bachelor of Design (Honours) - One-year full-time study to advance your undergraduate qualification in design. This may help you extend your practice or job roles to a higher level.

- Master of Design - This is an advanced programme emphasising design research. You can choose to conclude the degree by either completing a Thesis or developing an Integrated Body of Creative Work.

- Recertification and Registration Competence Programme for NZ Midwives and Overseas Midwives - 14 Weeks, Part-time. Hands-on qualification approved by the Midwifery Council, as part of the Registration Competence Programme for overseas midwives and Recertification Programme for New Zealand registered midwives.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Midwifery Practice - You can study full-time or part-time. Perfect for you if you're a registered midwife and want to extend your expertise. It takes you one step closer to more advanced midwifery qualifications.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery - Study full-time or part-time. This is an advanced qualification to extend your knowledge in midwifery.

- Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Science - Deepen your knowledge and understanding of Applied Science. Choose to specialise in performance analysis, physical conditioning or exercise and health.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Science - One Year, Full-time advanced course to extend your knowledge in a specialty of your choice - performance analysis, physical conditioning or exercise and health.
- New Zealand Certificate in Bicycle Servicing (Level 3) - Online with block courses on campus. It is perfect to learn how to service and install a wide range of bicycles, components and bicycle systems, including e-Bikes.
- New Zealand Certificate in Bicycle Mechanics (Level 4) - Online with block courses on campus. You can advance your skills by learning advanced techniques such as wheel building, suspension servicing, frame preparation and e-Bike system diagnostics.
- New Zealand Certificate in Electrical Engineering Theory and Practice (Trade) (Level 4) - Studied in conjunction with an apprenticeship. Gain the skills and knowledge to work independently as an Electrician.
- New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 2) - Great option if you want to re-engage with tertiary study. You will develop your study skills (reading, writing, maths computing) and undertake community work, volunteering and/or practical learning.
- Certificate in Land Skills (Level 2) - 8 weeks, full-time certificate. A place to start if you want to work in farming, horticulture, agriculture, conservation or other outdoor-related areas.
