Kai Puāwai is an evening food market event, hosted by Bachelor of Culinary Arts ākonga (students).

The evening will feature six unique food stalls centred around uplifting and transforming some ‘rescued food’ items, paired with some of our best, spring produce from Otago.

This in-person event promises a memorable evening filled with delicious dishes and warm hospitality, and all six food and drink options are included in the ticket price.

We extend a warm welcome to join us in the Manaaki courtyard for an evening celebrating food, our community and the environment.

This event is part of our Manaakitaka for Kai, and Culinary Management and Leadership courses on year one of the Bachelor of Culinary Arts programme, and is student-led, with facilitation from kaiako (lecturers).

Many thanks to our key suppliers - KiwiHarvest, Harbour Fish, Robertsons Butchery and the Otago Farmers Market. We look forward to seeing you there!

Ticket cost includes $30 for food and drink experience, and $2.97 for Eventbrite booking fee.
