Zero fees programmes – For domestic learners
Each year, we offer selected programmes with zero fees for New Zealand citizens and permanent residents, helping remove cost as a barrier to study.
What's covered by zero fees?
The zero fee offer covers the programme’s enrolment fees only.
Please note that it does not cover the cost of textbooks or any other additional charges. These will need to be paid by the student.
How to apply
Complete the online enrolment form for your chosen programme or course.
No payment is required at the time of application.
Please note that zero-fees are applicable to a few selected programmes. If you're interested in a programme that doesn't offer zero fees, you may be eligible for the Fees Free Scheme, Scholarships or other funding options.

Zero fees programmes available in 2026
New Zealand Certificate in Horticulture (General) (Level 3)
- 100% online study; full-time or part-time
- full-time duration: 17 weeks
- part-time duration: 34 weeks
- starts: 16 February 2026
