Salmond College
Shared with the university, Salmond College is a hall of residence in Dunedin where you can live amongst like-minded people, have your meals provided for you and take part in a variety of social events for first year students.
Salmond College is an easy 15-minute walk from our Dunedin Campus. It has great facilities for study and recreation, plus free study tutorials are also available.
Surround yourself with new first-year students all beginning their study journey in Dunedin - just like you. Salmond College accepts both University students, and Otago Polytechnic students - so you can navigate student life, and living away from home, together.
The accommodation application process for Salmond College is managed by the University of Otago on behalf of Otago Polytechnic. You will need to register as an Otago Polytechnic applicant and you will then be able to log in and check your application progress.
