Grape Pruning
Learn all you need to know about commercial pruning of grapevines for wine production.
This is a five-day course run in the Central Campus Vineyard, from 9.00am - 3.00pm each day.
About the course
This course is run in the Central Otago Campus vineyard.
You'll learn:
- Pruning and training of grapevines with a focus on vine balance
- Maintenance of pruning equipment
- Health and safety in the vineyard.
Materials and clothing
Please wear warm clothing suitable for learning in an outdoor environment. All materials and equipment are supplied for this course.
