About the course 

This is a five-day course run in the Central Otago Campus vineyard. 

Classes are held from 9am-3pm each day. 

You'll learn: 

  • Pruning and training of grapevines with a focus on vine balance
  • Maintenance of pruning equipment
  • Health and safety in the vineyard.

Materials and clothing

Please wear warm clothing suitable for learning in an outdoor environment. All materials and equipment are supplied for this course.
