Otago Polytechnic

Be in quick to take advantage of low-cost veterinary services for your cat!

Otago Polytechnic School of Veterinary Nursing and SPCA Otago are once again pleased to offer veterinary services at our biannual Cat Clinic, open on Friday 17 October at the School of Veterinary Nursing.

Otago Polytechnic students (with I.D.) and members of the public who hold valid Community Services cards are invited to book their cat in for a $20 health check, vaccination, microchip and worm treatment. Additional flea treatment will be available as an added extra on the day at a discounted price. Booster vaccinations may be needed three to four weeks after at an initial cost of $10.

On the day, all cats must arrive at the Cat Clinic in a carry cage. If you do not have one, cardboard pet taxis will be available from the School of Veterinary Nursing at a cost of just $5 cash. You can pick one up when you book and prepay. Please note: If your cat has any health issues or is diagnosed with any illness, they must go to their nominated veterinary clinic to be treated.

This is a fantastic opportunity to have your feline companion checked and chipped; safe and sound. There are limited appointments available so bookings are essential - be in quick as they will fill up fast!
