During your ceramics studies, you will learn to develop individual projects which explore ceramics as a medium with its own language, skills and history. With our hands-on approach to study, you can fully immerse yourself in your work with your own dedicated studio space surrounded by passionate peers.

Study Visual Arts with us and you’ll be taught at the renowned Dunedin School of Art. This is New Zealand’s oldest public art school, with a tradition of teaching excellence and a focus on developing your creativity for real-world employment within this growing industry. Naomi Eva Robbins

Naomi is doing a part-time Diploma in Ceramics (Level 5). She enjoys experimenting with clay, and finds the ceramics studio the ideal environment for creativity.

Study Visual Arts

Our Visual Arts qualifications provide a dedicated pathway to becoming an art creator. In the Bachelor of Visual Arts, you will study core art courses while gaining exposure to up to eight studio disciplines, including Ceramics.
