We offer a two-year New Zealand Diploma in Construction (Quantity Surveying) and a three-year Bachelor of Construction (Quantity Surveying). The diploma forms the first two years of the degree and diploma graduates can apply for a third-year of study to complete the degree. We also offer a New Zealand Diploma in Construction (Construction Management).
Our Quantity Surveying programme consolidates specialisations in quantity surveying and construction management. This recognises that quantity surveyors benefit from skills in planning, quality, and safety. It also better enables our graduates to work for Quantity Surveying consultancy firms or construction companies. They may then further specialise at postgraduate level.
Transitional arrangements exist for applicants who hold National Diplomas in Quantity Surveying and Construction Management.
Graduates may work as - consultant quantity surveyors, estimators, contract managers, contract administrators or project managers. With experience, become - a senior consultant, commercial or divisional manager, or operate your own consultancy. Post-grad options exist for further study.

Are you employed in a Building Surveying environment and need to gain this qualification to meet regulations? In partnership with Future Skills, BOINZ and Skills, we are offering you the chance to complete this qualification whilst in employment. This programme is only open to those engaged in Building Consenting Authority employment (or an equivalent environment) who need to gain this qualification to meet Regulation 18 of the Building (Accreditation of Building Consent Authorities) Regulations 2006.
