Learn how to use digital cameras and studio lighting -  in this practical workshop you will be introduced to some of the knowledge and skills required for digital photography.

You can enrol in this course and Game Design together for $230 (including GST).

Photography (2 days)
  • Wednesday - Thursday
  • 9.00am - 12.00pm and 
  • 1.00pm - 4.00pm 
  • Room H523, Level 5, H Block (Cnr of Union and Forth Streets)

Learn how to:

  1. Use studio lighting & equipment to photograph people or objects
  2. Employ computer software to edit and enhance the photographs     

 

 Game Design (2 days)
  • Monday - Tuesday
  • 9.00am - 12.00pm and
    1.00pm - 4.00pm
  • Room H515, Level 5 H Block (Cnr of Union and Forth Streets)

Learn how to:

1. Develop a simple game using GameMaker.

2. Create art and animation for 2D games.

Entry requirements
  • This short course is open to domestic students and international students (who are currently based in New Zealand).
  • A sound level of computer skills are required.

  • You are welcome to bring your own DLSR camera but cameras will be available to use.
