- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Applicants must meet the requirements of The Children's Act 2014.
Learners must be registered with the Moko Foundation for access to the app used in this Certificate. For those who are wanting to do this, they will need to contact the Moko Foundation initially.
You will need to have access to a thermometer, scales and height measuring equipment. You will also need an iPad or tablet, as well as any other device (such as a laptop) to complete course work.
Your part-time workload will consist of approximately 12.5 hours per week over 16 weeks.
This Certificate is delivered in three modules.
Each module has particular learning activities which are to be completed in an ePortfolio using OneNote Class Notebook. Modules and learning activities must be completed in sequential order. All learning activities must be completed for the learner to pass the Certificate.
|Learning Outcome 1: By the end of this course, you will be able to perform initial clinical assessments and specific health checks using basic medical equipment.|
|Learning Outcome 2: By the end of this course, you will be able to accurately report health issues and concerns through the use of a digital application.|
|Learning Outcome 3: By the end of this course, you will be able to demonstrate and reflect on ethical and professional practice, underpinned by the values of aroha, whakamana, tika and whanaungatanga, when working in the role of Digital Health Aide.|
