Certificate

Health bridging certificate

This year-long programme has replaced the Certificate in Health (Level 4). Offered by the School of Social Services, it can help you meet the minimum academic criteria for application to the New Zealand Diploma in Enrolled Nursing (Level 5), New Zealand Diploma in Wellness and Relaxation Massage (Level 5), Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Midwifery, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Social Services and Bachelor of Applied Science. It consists of two separate Certificate qualifications - the New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 3) and the New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 4). You will be enrolled in both of these qualifications at the beginning of the year.

Bachelor

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

This exciting programme includes fieldwork placements and will lead to registration as an Occupational Therapist in New Zealand. It is also recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists. Our July intake is part-time only and learners can choose one Year One course to study. You will then complete the remaining Year One courses from February next year.

Graduate Diploma in Professional Practice with a context in Occupational Health and Safety

Offered in conjunction with the New Zealand Institute for Safety Management, this is a qualification provided for Health and Safety practitioners with many years of experience. If you have sound experience but no academic qualification to back your knowledge, this programme is the means with which to achieve 'Graduate' status within the NZISM accreditation programme. This programme is not available to international students.
