Who doesn't like cake? 

During these classes, you'll design, bake and decorate the cake of your choice under the expert guidance of Wanaka-based pastry chef, Clare Pennell (Cakes of Wanaka). 

Clare will help you design a single tier Christmas cake or celebration cake and take you through the baking process. Then you'll learn how to expertly cover and decorate it. 

And the best part...you can take everything you make during the workshop home with you! 

Class content 
Class one (Mon 6 Dec)

Cake design and bake. Your choice of fruit and chocolate - gluten free available) 

Class two (Tues 7 Dec)

Covering. Learn how to create a smooth finish ready for decorating (your choice of ganache or fondant). 

Class three (Wed 8 Dec)

Decorating. Clare will share all her secrets to help you create the cake you have designed.
