This course aims to enable you to experience and develop your skills in a range of drawing techniques which can be used to communicate landscape design ideas on paper.

Learners usually pair this course with the Landscape Design short course.  

Content
  • Exploration and application with a range of drawing materials Techniques for drawing vegetation and landscape features
  • Observational drawing including the use of line and tone Colour rendering media techniques Perspective, axonometric, proportion, scale and plan drawing
  • Techniques for recording and developing ideas Subject matter will include the drawing of plants, gardens, landscapes features and buildings
