Learn all you need to know about the commercial pruning of grapevines for wine production.


This is a five-day course with each day running from 9.00am-3.00pm. 2019 dates are still to be confirmed. 


Unit Standard 19033 - Hand prune grapevines (5 credits).

Materials and clothing

Please wear warm clothing suitable for learning in an outdoor environment. All materials and equipment are supplied for this course. 


These courses are based around unit standards within the National Certificate in Horticulture (Level 4) qualification. If you wish to officially gain the unit standard(s), you can sit an assessment and will receive a certificate recognising your achievement.

If you are learning for interest, you do not have to sit an assessment and will receive a Certificate of Attendance to demonstrate that you completed the course.
