Want a job working with food? Learn about safe food practices and the legislation of food safety. This unit standard is a legal requirement in some workplaces and is recommended for ALL people working, or preparing to work in a food business.

What you'll learn

Unit 167 - 4 credits at Level 2: Practise food safety methods in a food business under supervision

This is a full-day course.

 

What to bring with you

Please bring a highlighter pen, ballpoint pen and some paper. You also need to wear fully enclosed leather/pleather shoes – no heels – and wear pants or a skirt that goes below the knee. You will be working within a commercial environment and are required to comply with our health and safety and food safety requirements at all times.
