Human resources management

Human resource management is the process of managing employees, developing policies relating to the workplace, and developing strategies to retain employees.

Responsibilities include recruitment, health and safety, employee wellbeing, performance management and remuneration, learning and development, employment relations and policy development.

CAREER OUTCOMES

A human resource advisor work in a wide range of organisations, environments and industries. Employment opportunities include Human Resources Advisor, Employment Relations Specialist, Industry Training Advisor, Recruitment Consultant, Health and Safety Manager, Talent Manager, Union Relations, Applications Specialist​ or Organisational Development Manager

This programme has industry experiences at its centre with case studies and workplace-based or focused assignments. The practical learning doesn’t stop there as you’ll also complete an internship during your third year.
